In honor of Colorado Craft Beer Week Call to Arms Brewing Co. and Block & Larder will be joining forces the evening of 3/21/17 to present Tastes of Tennyson. This will be one of the premier Food & Beer pairing events on this date happening across the state showcasing how beer and food make great partners at the table.
These two Berkeley neighborhood stand outs will be bringing their A-game for you. The Block & Larder culinary team has designed specialty features specifically to be paired with three Call to Arms stand out draft selections – one of which has never been tasted outside of their tap room previously.
- Frites Libertatum wild farmhouse ale will be paired with Foie Gras on Brioche with rhubarb preserve and peppered pistachio.
- Call to Arms IPA will be paired with Colorado Bass Ceviche served with tostones
- Bell’s Belgian Quadriceps sour Belgian style quadrupel will be paired with Peppered Bison Flank served with endive, purple sweet potato puree, chèvre and a berry espuma
In a novel approach to the traditional pairing dinner each beer and food course will be available a la carte as well as for a reduced price as a three-course meal in order allow guests to choose their own way through a delicious flavor experience. All courses and beers will be available from 6 pm to close on Tuesday 3/21/17 while supplies last.
There is no fee to attend this casual event and no RSVP is required. Reservations are being taken at Block & Larder and are recommended for guests desiring to secure their seat. You can make your reservation right here on our site or by calling us at 303-433-4063. If you would like you can also RSVP at the event on our Facebook page.
